The Edelman Fellowship Program is exclusively offered in the Los Angeles office and created specifically for exceptional talent who are looking to launch their careers in the integrated communications industry. This year-long program will offer six dynamic individuals the opportunity to fully immerse in the integrated communications field, simultaneously working to build a portfolio while gaining valuable experience that will prepare you for a career in the world of communications. You will gain exposure, training and mentorship from some of the best in the business, work on a team project with your fellow Fellows, and contribute directly to high-quality creative work assignments, briefs and pitches.
As an Influencer Marketing Fellow, you will learn how to create influencer programs across all tiers of talent, branded video content, social platforms, digital media, talent management. You'll also develop a proven track record of prospecting, negotiating and closing deals to support and fulfill the strategic objectives of Edelman's clients.
Source, build and maintain our proprietary influencer network of influencers (bloggers, vloggers, experts and advocates).
Leverage influencers to achieve client goals and the ability to constantly improve the way we work.
Collaborate with Edelman's analytics team to measure, track and report on the impact of influencer programs.
Learn industry and Edelman influencer marketing best practices, as well as research and push the team forward.
Manage industry relationships by scheduling ongoing meetings, attending industry events, and proactively looking for new influencer programming opportunities.
Assist in campaign executions from start to finish including: influencer identification, influencer vetting, outreach, development of offers, negotiations, contracting, management of deliverables, tracking posted deliverables, sending client updates and final campaign reporting.
Available up to a year to remain in the program from July 2019 through June 2020. The role is full time, Monday through Friday. After your initial three months in the program, there is potential you will be offered an extension, making it a yearlong program.
Proven organizational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new assignments, deadlines and conditions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills whether presenting to colleagues, drafting emails to clients or participating in brainstorming sessions.
Strong research skills and a demonstrated ability to become a strong writer.
Leadership capabilities demonstrated through volunteering and extracurricular activities
Basic understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, etc).
Advanced proficiency working in Microsoft Office programs and a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
