Job Overview

Under the supervision of the Interdisciplinary Team, is responsible for conducting the assessment and treatment protocols of children with feeding problems. Serves as the primary feeder of the child.

Collects data on the child's mealtime behaviors and oral-motor skills and caretaker integrity. Acts as the liaison between the child's caretakers and Interdisciplinary Team.

Responsibilities

Provides data management for pediatric patients with feeding difficulties,. Creates and implements sessions activities for pediatric patients with feeding difficulties under the supervision of the interdisciplinary team Maintains up-to-date protocols, progress notes and discharge summaries Implements the feeding intervention recommended supervised by the interdisciplinary team for pediatric patients with feeding difficulties Acts as a liaison between the parent, school personnel and members of the interdisciplinary team. Educates and Trains parents/guardians of pediatric patients on feeding intervention under the supervision and direction of the interdisciplinary team members.

Communicates in an effective and timely manner with other staff and Interdisciplinary team members. Participates in staff and program development and departmental meetings; implements changes accordingly Retrieval, preparation and disposal of food items for pediatric patients with feeding difficulties. Meets all required competencies for department, unit and/or hospital.

Responsible for performing all other duties as assigned. Special Projects

Qualifications

Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Nutrition, Special Education and/or three years of pediatric feeding experience. Requires analytical skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment, attention to detail and problem resolution. Must possess strong customer service, communication, organizational & interpersonal skills.

Job Overview The Patient Experience Data Specialist supports all aspects of the patient experience measurement and reporting process, including data integrity, meaningful reporting, and interpretation of data. The Data Specialist is a member of the Patient Experience department who is responsible for managing multiple data bases and completing reports for internal, corporate, and other regulatory / accrediting agencies, and supports all aspects of patient experience data collection and reporting. This position requires proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Press Ganey, Cyracom, RL Solutions, and various internal system records. Prepares reports for various departmental meetings i.e. the Press Ganey scores, performance improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance for the hospitals' Patient Experience and complaint and grievance processes. The Data Specialist supports other patient experience initiatives and projects as needed and appropriate. Responsibilities Knowledge of computer programs, data management, analysis and reporting as typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field and prior experience typically equivalent to 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Ability to validate all data entry and identify any discrepancies prior to dissemination of said data. Excellent skills in MS Office tools, including Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
