BAMSI is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization founded in Brockton, Massachusetts, with a vision of driving change and creating equal opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental and behavioral health challenges. Brockton Area Multi-Services, Inc. (BAMSI) was incorporated on March 21, 1975 as South Shore Multi-Services Inc., under Chapter 180 of the Massachusetts General Laws, as a not-for-profit human service organization. On July 9, 1975, it changed its name to Brockton Area Multi-Services, Inc. It was formed for the development, coordination, and delivery of integrated human service programs, and according to its website, its mission is "to empower people and enrich their lives, through compassionate support and diverse services, one individual, one family a time." BAMSI employees up to 2,000 people and operates adult, child, and family services, assisting approximately 30,000 individuals each year in Worcester, Middlesex, Norfolk, Bristol, and Plymouth Counties.

Responsibilities
General Statement of Duties:
Position functions within the community-based Outpatient Mental Health Clinic to provide services to people of all ages who are experiencing personal difficulties in their lives due to psychiatric and/or emotional symptoms arising from current or past stressors, life crises, problems in school, developmental issues, mental illness, adjustment disorders or substance abuse.
The Clinic is licensed by the Department of Public Health, Medicaid Certified, and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
Responsibilities:
Provide by telehealth or hybrid, diagnostic evaluation, individual psychotherapy, couples or family therapy. Maintain up-to-date clinical records for assigned clients, complete all required documentation in a clean, concise, and timely manner. Provide a minimum of at least 8 client contact units per week (billable hours). Attend quarterly team meetings, and multi-disciplinary team meetings. Obtain all necessary prior authorizations from funding agents (i.e. insurance companies/Medicaid) for services rendered to assigned clients. Work with supervisor and Clinic Director to provide coordinated and comprehensive crisis diversion, management, and intervention. Maintain records, reports, and documentation for individuals served in a timely manner, including Individual Treatment Plans, daily progress notes, assessments and evaluation data. Conduct clinical practice in accordance with BAMSI policies, the Department of Public Health, the Department of Mental Health and any other regulatory agencies to which the program is subject. Maintain regular and timely attendance, professional boundaries, quality clinical service and high professional standards at all times. Participate in required staff, multi-disciplinary and person-served meetings as assigned. Attend required trainings and demonstrate continued growth and competency. Adhere to the agency's policy regarding confidentiality, and execute duties to reflect reasonable safety standards. Universal/standard precautions must be utilized and training obtained in areas that constitute risk. Perform other related work duties as needed or as assigned by supervisor or designee.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work required.
Licensed as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor
