The Sales Manager will work directly with System Integrators and Service Providers to capture sales and business development opportunities while exceeding revenue goals. This manager will continue the tradition of forming lasting partnerships with one goal in mind: the success of our customers.
Specific areas of responsibility include:
Use relationship management techniques as well as sales leadership techniques to develop selling opportunities in conjunction with partner organizations, up to partner C-Level staff
Develop and execute a strategy for growth in specific areas, such as Cloud computing, converged and Hyperconverged infrastructure with the assigned system integrator/Service Provider
Develop a Strategic Account Plan with the System Integrator based on institutional/industry knowledge as well as research on the direction and goals of that partner
Work with different sales and technical teams throughout the NetApp sales organization to help develop strategies for the assigned system integrators
Use a systemized and holistic approach to opportunity prioritization
Listening to and understanding the customers' desired business outcomes and then evangelize NetApp's value proposition to meet their wants
Proven track record of success with a consultative selling approach and business acumen in the area of large program pursuits, managing sales transactions, and forecasting business
History of selling to and with Public Sector Systems Integrators
A thorough understanding of go-to-market strategies including account segmentation, products, marketing strategies, etc.
Broad exposure to a variety of technologies/concepts in the Hybrid Cloud environment
Security Clearance is preferred
Approximately 20% travel, as needed
