Federal Proposal Writer

Job Description Job Description Position Overview As a Federal Proposal Writer , you will play a critical role in our business development efforts, working closely with the Chief Development Officer (CDO) and technical teams to craft compelling, winning proposals. You will be responsible for interpreting government solicitations, developing persuasive content, and ensuring that all proposal submissions align with BSI’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities Collaborate with the CDO and business development team to develop competitive federal proposals. Analyze government solicitations and fully understand proposal requirements. Write, edit, and refine proposal content to effectively communicate value propositions.

Conduct research and interview subject matter experts to develop accurate, compelling responses. Work with designers to create visually engaging proposal materials. Build and maintain a repository of reusable proposal content.

Prioritize tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines. Implement feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve proposal quality. Ensure consistency in proposal writing by adhering to company style guides and compliance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications 3-5 years of professional proposal writing experience. Exposure to government proposal writing (federal contracting experience preferred). Strong team collaboration and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with acute attention to detail.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
