HIRING FOR NEW CONTRACTS WITH SEVERAL FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES. LOOKING FOR PROJECT MANAGERS WITH GRANTS SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE WORKING DIRECTLY IN FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AS AN EMPLOYEE OR CONTRACTOR. PRIOR FEDERAL CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR IMMEDIATE CONSIDERATION.
Manages grant projects according to statement of work requirements up to a 20 person staff level.
Leads team to ensure grants management support services comply with and are integrated into Department system practices.
Manages grants application system processes to assure that policies and guidelines are observed.
Collects data using various data collection methods to develop tracking reports for grants administration services.
Develops, analyzes, and/or interprets grant regulations, policies, SOPs and guidelines.
Prepares and presents briefings on application processes and review procedures.
Maintains good relations with client and industry specific community to support peer recruitment activities.
Ensures proper reporting and administration of requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of Federal grant administration practices, methods, resources, and standards
Ability to organize work effectively, conceptualize and prioritize objectives and exercise
independent judgment based on an understanding of organizational policies and activities.
Strong project management and writing skills.
Ability to organize and strategically plan project success.
Ability to maintain good working relationships with staff, reviewers, clients, and others.
Ability to integrate resources, policies, and information for the determination of procedures,
solutions, and other outcomes.
Bachelors Degree in business related field. 5-8 years of Federal Grants experience to include managing pre-award and post-award grants processes and performing grants administration for Federal agencies.
