By joining our Budget & Fiscal Management/Division of Accounts/Program Billing Branch as a Federal Fund Accountant Manager in Franklin County, you'll have the opportunity to serve Executive Branch employees in the Cabinet by providing professional and technical federal program guidance.
Holders of the Federal Fund Accountant Manager position will complete tasks such as:
Oversee the establishment, modification, and closure of all federal programs for the cabinet.
Process and report on Grant Anticipation Revenue Vehicle (GARVEE) Bonds
Direct and coordinate personnel in preparation of the cabinet Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA).
Respond to audit inquiries of federal fund accounts.
Holders of this job will obtain the following skills:
Develop an in-depth knowledge of eMARS
Develop good communication skills.
Gain knowledge of statutes, rules, regulations and policies in KYTC.
Develop an in-depth knowledge of GARVEE Bonds.
Desired candidates should possess the following requisite skills or experience applicable to the position:

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree (which includes twenty semester hours or thirty quarter hours in accounting).
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Must have six years professional accounting or audit experience. Four years of the required experience must include federal accounting, auditing, or reporting.
