Primary Responsibilities

The Energy Project Manager is responsible for the management of energy and sustainable projects to support Federal clients. This individual is tasked with managing and growing Federal energy planning and consulting services delivered out of the Federal Asset Management and Planning office. Energy Projects include comprehensive energy assessments, energy audits, and energy plans of existing building systems.

The Federal Energy Project Manager will provide consulting services on a variety of projects related to the built environment. Responsibilities include project scoping, fee and scope negotiation, planning, staffing, budgeting, scheduling, technical reviews, writing, analysis, and quality control.

Business Development and Thought Leadership

  • Participate in selected marketing and business development opportunities. Acts as key presenter in new project interviews.

  • Assist Marketing Department in development of marketing campaigns, materials, webinars, etc. and overall proposal preparation

  • Assists in preparation of award submittals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Planning or related field.

  • Professional registration/certification preferred ( i.e. PE, AICP, LEED AP, CEM, etc.).

  • Knowledge and experience of Department of Defense criteria and Federal mandates and executive orders related to asset management, sustainabil

Considerable experience as a team leader: supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust; seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.
