The BUSINESS ANALYST will work closely with the Field Operations Manager to drive and implement Federal wide and Area specific initiatives. Teamwork with the Financial Controllers and the Federal Strategy & Planning teams, synthesizing large amounts of data and summarizing findings while prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously will be critical responsibilities. Your role will focus on Operational Excellence & Strategic Planning to drive increased efficiency within the Federal markets. You'll have the desire to quickly acquaint to the Federal market; relevant architectures, key players, business objectives and business challenges.
Selected candidate must reside in DC Metro area. RTP, NC is a potential alternate location. Residing in one of these territories and US Citizenship are requirements for this role based on the Federal customers you'll be supporting and business needs.
As a successful Business Analyst, you will have demonstrated ability in the following skills:
3 - 5 years' experience analyzing FINANCIAL DATA; manipulating spreadsheets, reporting, managing deadlines.
Demonstrated TASK MANAGEMENT ability; meeting deadlines, completing and tracking multiple tasks/projects simultaneously, and prioritizing based on business need.
Experience (or desire to develop) ability to interpret data and communicate results to varying levels within the company, customers and cross functional groups.
Excellent COMMUNICATION skills; daily professional written and verbal correspondence.
Strong detail orientation and problem solving skills.
Desire to see and plan 'big picture' while gaining a solid understanding of how the different pieces interconnect with each other through projects and deliverables.
Possess an interest in strategic planning and learning and adapting to Cisco's cultural and organizational environment and goals.
Overall responsibilities include but not limited to:
Aligning direction to Cisco Federal strategic priorities, for the support Operations, Regions and Verticals.
Engaging with cross-functional leaders of varying executive levels.
Creating operational processes to manage and govern projects, metrics & key initiatives.
Managing effective communication and process to align efforts to decisions and expected outcomes.
Driving planning to success within committed timeline which includes defining roadmap, facilitating decision-making on priorities and planning organizational change.
Working closely with business stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Channels) to measure impact on Cisco revenue and Cisco/Partner productivity.
