The SAP Application Developer is responsible for technical analysis, design, coding, debugging/troubleshooting, and testing of RICEF components. The SAP Application Developer is involved in maintenance, enhancement and/or development work application modules and interfaces with other applications. The SAP Application Developer has a range of skills and knowledge of the technologies used and applications supported. The SAP Application Developer is required to participate in pager/on-call support. The SAP Application Developer will estimate software development cost and schedule.

  • Work with Client, Accenture, and Teaming Partner team members and executives on and across the project team.

  • Plan and execute all required process steps as defined in our.

  • Provide SAP application development support in a timely manner and client methodologies.

  • Analyze, design, code and test break/fix requests and enhancements to SAP modules.

  • Work with Client, Accenture, and Teaming Partner team members to gather and interpret functional user/system requirements into technical design specifications.

  • Develop technical system specifications for SAP components.

  • Design SAP components to technical programming standards.

  • Provide support toward installation of application releases into production as directed.

  • Coordinate and participate in structured peer reviews / walkthroughs.

  • Create operational documentation.

  • Perform system, interface, and batch monitoring as required.

  • Meet service commitments for assigned deliverables and proactively provide work status.

  • Continuously develop industry knowledge and associated skills.

ConvergeHEALTH is a part of Deloitte Consulting's Platforms practice, and supports the information-based transformation of healthcare by enabling healthcare and life sciences organizations to answer the "hard questions" in healthcare-what works, for whom, why, in what context, and at what cost? ConvergeHEALTH Miner™ platform helps life science companies support their evidence strategies by providing enterprise data management and analytics capabilities for information generated throughout their evidence lifecycle from translational research to clinical trials to real world evidence (RWE). Work you'll do You will be working with the rest of product development team to build and enhance the Miner platform and data analytic workflows needed to power insight generation, with a specific focus on developing advanced cloud-based data analytic capabilities and on improving overall platform efficiency and performance. The team Core Industry Solutions Our Core Industry Solutions practice encompasses industry vertical, sector specific solutions that leverage distinct technologies to drive operational change and automate the core of the business. Examples of the type of work we deliver to our clients includes Digital CARE (Epic), Insurance CST (Guidewire), and Digital Banking Solutions (nCino). The team brings experience from across Deloitte to leverage common approaches, best practices, and strategic investments to scale these solutions by industry strategy. Professionals will focus on key client issues that are at the core of the business by integrating our industry expertise with deep technical and operational transformation capabilities. Qualifications Required * A BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Bioinformatics or a related field * 3-5 years of hands-on experience developing cloud-based enterprise web applications or system integration with a focus on back-end service, API development, data processing and system integration. * Proven experience leveraging AWS cloud-native technologies, with specific focus on: * Database and analytics services such as RedShift, Glue, S3, Athena, and Lambda functions * Experience with RDBMS and SQL (SQL Server, Postgres, etc.), with an emphasis on data modeling, data transformation, and SQL performance tuning * Proven programming experience in Java and Spring framework * Programming experience in languages commonly used for data science/statistics, such as Python or R, and cloud-based ML platforms such as SageMaker * Excellent problem identification, analysis and solving skills; an innate ability to utilize all resources at your disposal to find a creative solution to a problem, whether business/functional or technical in nature * A desire to take initiative and continuously work on improving the products you are responsible for * A general interest in relevant emerging technologies and a constant thirst to further your own technical abilities * Experience working in an Agile development environment * Hands-on experience with full suite of software lifecycle tools (Confluence, Jira, Stash, Jenkins, Artifactory, etc.) * The ability to work well independently and as a team player * Excellent conversational and written communication skill * Ability to travel up to 100% (While 100% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
