The SAP Application Developer is responsible for technical analysis, design, coding, debugging/troubleshooting, and testing of RICEF components. The SAP Application Developer is involved in maintenance, enhancement and/or development work application modules and interfaces with other applications. The SAP Application Developer has a range of skills and knowledge of the technologies used and applications supported. The SAP Application Developer is required to participate in pager/on-call support. The SAP Application Developer will estimate software development cost and schedule.

  • Work with Client, Accenture, and Teaming Partner team members and executives on and across the project team.

  • Plan and execute all required process steps as defined in our.

  • Provide SAP application development support in a timely manner and client methodologies.

  • Analyze, design, code and test break/fix requests and enhancements to SAP modules.

  • Work with Client, Accenture, and Teaming Partner team members to gather and interpret functional user/system requirements into technical design specifications.

  • Develop technical system specifications for SAP components.

  • Design SAP components to technical programming standards.

  • Provide support toward installation of application releases into production as directed.

  • Coordinate and participate in structured peer reviews / walkthroughs.

  • Create operational documentation.

  • Perform system, interface, and batch monitoring as required.

  • Meet service commitments for assigned deliverables and proactively provide work status.

  • Continuously develop industry knowledge and associated skills.

The qualified candidate will be act as a consultant between the end user/customer and technical community in support of GSC and Manufacturing business processes. SAP MRP, BOM Development/Maintenance, MRP, Inventory Management, and Quality Management knowledge and proficiency is desired. The qualified candidate will support our recurring/existing customer base and new project initiatives. Experience with MM/PP/QM design, including requirement analysis, configuration, realization, testing, post-implementation support, training and knowledge transfer is desired. Knowledge and experience with shop floor business processes and systems is a plus. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Performs as an internal consultant between the customer and technical community around SAP MRP/Manufacturing/Quality Management and MES shop floor solutions and integrations * Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including coding, configuring, testing, debugging, and installing to support an organization's business needs and application systems * Assists with the development and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning/Shop Floor Systems * Responsible for the functional requirements definition, solution design, implementation, and maintenance of systems/applications * Works with users to analyze/configure/tailor applications to fit their needs * Writes requirements documents, design documents and test procedures for applications * Works with developers/end users to design applications that best meet user requirements * Works with developers/end users to develop and implement unit and system testing processes * Assists with testing efforts and work with users to ensure appropriate testing is completed * Functions as technical lead for large scaled recurring/non-recurring initiatives as required * Leads change management activities related to the SAP/MES/CPLM/ENOVIA /Solumnia integration and software migration needs * Leads recurring/existing customer base and new project initiatives Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 14 years' of related work experience; OR 12 years' of related work experience with a Master's degree * Minimum of 3 years' experience using SAP or other ERP implementations * Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and organizational skills. * The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or higher level Clearance (US Citizenship is required) Preferred Qualifications: * Current Secret or higher level Clearance Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
