Develops the application including configuration, report development and data migration, where applicable

  • Performs custom development (as required) and 3rd party integrations

  • Carries out unit-testing and defect resolution

  • Carries out migration of the changes to production

  • Assists with technical design and documentation

  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions in ServiceNow that support business requirements

Location: Kansas City (southeast side) Shift: First Shift, Monday - Friday, primarily 7:00am - 4:00pm EST Benefits: Eligible for benefits on first day of employment Vacation: Eligible for 3 weeks of paid vacation per calendar year How you will do it 1. Assists experienced personnel with solutions to systems problems either troubleshooting the system or advising others on how to resolve problems. Requires understanding of core and third party security products, software and systems / electrical technology. 2. Assists in performing required commissioning documentation. Provide accurate information for as-builts documentation. 3. Adheres to safety standards and local and national codes, with a high degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety. 4. Maintains appropriate local and National Fire / Security Industry Certifications. 5. Communicates with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Continuous proactive customer interactions including an in-depth understanding of customer(s) needs wants and systems currently in place. 6. Assists in monitoring project execution per plan. Reports problems or changes to supervisor or management. 7. Completes paperwork and on site documentation as required. 8. Performs self-study (reading, research, and practice) to obtain technical proficiency on required products and application. 9. Performs other duties as assigned What we look for Required 1. High School Diploma with electronics or low voltage maintenance experience or tech school training 2. Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other outside contacts. 3. Basic computer skills. 4. Attention to detail. 5. Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people. 6. The ability to obtain and maintain a DoE security clearance. (This involves a background/character, criminal history, employment, and credit check.) Preferred 1. Electronics certification from an accredited technical school or military electronics training. 2. Two (2) or more years experience with installation and/or maintenance and service of electronic security systems (access controls, intrusion detection, CCTV, etc) 3. Programming experience with Electronic Security or Fire systems 4.
