This skilled professional will support sustainment operations including directly troubleshooting production issues of deployed application discovery tool-based based solutions

Responsibilities Include:

  • Primarily support environments management of application discovery tool-based solutions including release management and configuration management while adhering to applicable security policies/procedures for each environment

  • Secondarily support full life cycle release deployment of application discovery tool-based solutions including COTS software version upgrades

  • Periodically function as a SME within application discovery tool-based solutions (Main Appliances, Remote Collectors, including leveraging previous professional experience to provide technical knowledge to development/sustainment teammates

  • Participate in quality management reviews ensuring the application design and related work products satisfy the requirements including assisting teammates to produce deliverables in compliance with standard procedures

  • Effectively and comfortably support communications with clients (possessing all ranges of technical ability, personality, and disposition) including face-to-face interaction and accountability with the client on a daily basis to develop positive client relationships within own area of responsibility

  • Provide necessary project management artifacts as required to team lead including status, project planning, and reporting

  • Identify and communicate issues and risks to the team lead or end user to facilitate timely resolution

  • Maximize personal productivity with reduced dependence on supervisor's input by structuring own or others' activities to minimize delays, wasted effort, or rework including conducting work planning/prioritization for own or others' activities

  • Actively contribute to maintaining a collaborative work environment

The admin’s primary responsibilities are support to end users, project maintenance/creation, managing security and troubleshooting issues with a goal of reducing business disruptions and generally ensuring that common issues are resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible.<br /> <br /> <strong>The selected candidate will be expected to:</strong> <ul> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Analyze, review, and document current functionality to determine potential areas of improvement.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Manage user permissions for tools according to the needs of projects and teams.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Perform application and system administration tasks, including upgrades, data backups and scheduled jobs.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Test/validate upgrades, tools, and plug-ins to ensure compatibility and seamless integration.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Maintain JIRA projects, workflows, permissions, and users.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Manage Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, and Fisheye application security.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Work with JIRA filters, reporting, dashboards, workflows, fields, and JIRA administration.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Communicate and share knowledge with internal and external contacts at all levels.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Manage multiple responsibilities with tight deadlines.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Achieve optimal performance and availability by assessing, implementing, and managing appropriate technical solutions.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Respond to routine system audits monitoring compliance with established standards, policies, procedures, and configuration guidelines under the risk management framework.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Possess superior customer service skills, frequently communicating with internal, external, and vendor contacts.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Must be available for after hours and on-call support.</li> </ul>  <br /> <strong>Required Skills:</strong> <ul> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related quantitative field.</li> <li style="padding: 0; margin: 0;">Customer service experience.
