This full-time, client-focused role emphasizes both business development and account management. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Business Development: Manage existing accounts and identify new customer opportunities within a specific territory.
Lead Qualification: Hunt for new customers and qualify project-based leads.
Sales Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales Executives to promote and present Vari products, driving sales revenue.
Customer Engagement: Deliver product presentations, support customer inquiries, manage projects, and provide outstanding customer experience.
Solution Development: Identify customer needs and develop tailored solutions aligned with their strategic goals.
Sales Process Management: Source new sales opportunities through outbound tactics leveraging our lead generation tools.
Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with current customers in your book of business, including follow-on sales.
Customer Support: Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries.
Collaboration on Complex Projects: Team up with field sales members and leaders for strategic projects.
Proposal Preparation: Prepare solutions, pricing, and bid packages independently or in collaboration with Sales Executives and/or RFP Manager.
Customer Loyalty: Develop deep customer relationships, creating lifelong Vari fans
CRM Management: Accountable to accurate and up-to-date information in Salesforce.
Requirements
HOW YOU'LL GET THERE
1-3+ years of relevant sales, account management or business development experience
Experience managing federal government business preferred
Gifted in verbal communications and relationship building
Skilled at delivering engaging presentations and communicating information clearly
Ability to build rapport of the phone or email
Strong active listening skills with the ability to empathize with the needs of the customer
Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM and other relevant business software tools
Proven track record of consistently achieving assigned sales quotas
