FC Supervisor-Weekend Shift (Fri/Sat/Sun) Full-Time

Position Overview

The FC Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all service levels are met on the operational budget within the departments of the FC, including shipping, pick and pack, quality control, returns, receiving and replenishing, retail preparation, and inventory control. Responsible for executing daily operations, process improvements, operating budgets, staff development and preparing the department for company growth.

What You'll Do:

• Plan effective use of equipment and personnel to meet operating needs including the creation of department budgets and operating guidelines.

• Conduct effective hiring and training of employees.

• Manage quarterly and annual performance reviews in a timely, professional manner.

• Build a leadership team that can support the seasonal peaks and company growth.

• Build cross departmental communications with all functional areas of the company.

• Manage growth of labor force and facilities to meet planned sales levels.

• Manage the development of meaningful labor and production measurements.

• Oversee all aspects of safety in the warehouse including training.

• Assure that all actions taken with regard to direct reports are in accordance with established company policies.

What We're Looking For:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Equivalent work experience would be considered

• 5+ years of experience as a manager or supervisor of a mid-size fulfillment center

• Demonstrated experience with WMS

• Demonstrated experience of management of a peak seasonal workforce

• Demonstrated expereince of process improvement techniques (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.)

• Demonstrated ability to manage a small package distribution system warehouse in a rapidly growing company

• Ability to manage rapid growth requiring system and facility changes

• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in:

• Analytical software capability

• WMS experience

• Proven success in a detail-oriented position with high level of accuracy

• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to identify process shortfalls and submit workable changes

Compensation Range: $53,000 to $70,000/year

Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
