F&B Supervisor

Job Summary:

As the F&B Supervisor at Ocean Place Resort & Spa, you will be responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operations at our resort in Long Branch, New Jersey. This individual contributor role requires a strong understanding of both hospitality and restaurant operations, as well as excellent leadership and customer service skills. You will work full-time with a competitive salary and benefits package, paid biweekly.

Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and direct daily food and beverage operations, including but not limited to, restaurant, bar, room service, and banquets

• Ensure exceptional guest experiences by monitoring service standards and resolving any issues or concerns

• Train and mentor food and beverage staff on service standards, menu knowledge, and up-selling techniques

• Maintain inventory and ensure proper stocking and ordering of food, beverages, and supplies

• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of all food and beverage outlets

• Create and implement operational procedures and policies to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction

• Collaborate with other resort departments, such as housekeeping, sales, and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences

• Assist with scheduling and payroll for food and beverage staff

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure health and safety standards are met in all food and beverage outlets

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in F&B supervision or similar role

• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends

• Proven ability to train, motivate, and mentor team members

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and point of sale systems

• High School diploma or equivalent, college degree in Hospitality or related field preferred

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
