Position Purpose & Summary

Support administratively the food and beverage leadership team with planning and organizing special events, menu design and production, manage the reservation process for special occasions, communicate with members, resort, and public guests, respond to OpenTable reviews. Assist with the receipt of incoming deliveries and inventory execution.

Essential Functions:

  • Tip Reporting for Food and Beverage Department

  • Capture critical details for reservations and special events

  • Organize holiday and special occasion reservations and seating

  • Create/design menu layouts and liaise with sales and marketing and printers

  • Adobe InDesign software proficiency

  • Jonas Club Point of Sale (POS) and Club Central proficiency

  • Answer and respond to incoming phone calls for the F&B Division, responding to restaurant reservations and in-room dining calls

  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word & Excell)

  • Deliver "I Am Proud" service standards and department-specific signature touch points.

  • Establish cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates that are consistent and complete.

  • Create inter and intra-departmental communications as directed by the VP Restaurants, Bars & Events

  • Code and process invoices in STAMPLI/Birchstreet.

  • Support the Food & Beverage Division, VP of Restaurants, Bars & Events, Executive Chef

  • Other duties as assigned.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare weekly reports

  • Assist with food and beverage inventory, counts and data entry

  • Prepare purchase orders, request quotes

  • Outstanding communications skills

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Interface positively with other departments, offering assistance when needed.

  • Displays care in use of equipment and maintains an organized and professional work environment.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum Knowledge & Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Publisher

  • Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented.

  • Formal Education and Job-Related Experience:

  • High school diploma; college degree preferred.

  • Two years' experience in the hospitality industry

  • License, Registration, and/or Certification Required: Valid driver's license
