Fast Track Emergency Technician

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Fast Track Emergency Technician is responsible for providing support to providers and nursing staff caring for customer-owners in the Emergency Services Department - Fast Track in accordance with established protocols and treatment regimens.

Minimum Qualifications:

1.High School diploma; OR GED.

2.Current State of Alaska Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.

3.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card is required.

The successful applicant will be required to agree to comply with all job-related employee health screening and immunizations requirements prior to the first day of SCF employment, which include the following: MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella), Varicella (Chicken Pox), and COVID-19 vaccinations.

As an additional condition of employment, the successful applicant must be able to comply with the applicable standards of SCF's Background Check Policy, including the requirements imposed by the Alaska Barrier Crimes/Conditions and Background Checks regulations, the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act, the Crime Control Act of 1990, and the mandatory and permissive exclusion provisions of the Social Security Act.
