KVC Kansas is looking for a Family Preservation Specialist/Therapist who will provide direct, in-home services to high-risk families whose children are at substantial risk of placement out of home.
The Family Preservation Specialist/Therapist will:
Due to the unique needs of the families we serve, this role does not have a predictable schedule. KVC staff have the flexibility to manage their own time to create a positive work-life balance, but there will be evening and weekend work required as well as significant travel time to visit families in their homes. Mileage reimbursement is provided for all company travel.

Bachelor's or Master's in social work, substance abuse/addictions/community counseling, human development, child and family development, applied family and youth studies, public health, health sciences, trauma studies, sociology/social services, education/early childhood, mental health/rehabilitation counseling, counseling psychology, marriage and family therapy, or psychology is required.
Ability to obtain a temporary or full licensure with the Kansas Behavioral Science Regulatory Board (ksbsrb.ks.org) within the first 90 days of employment is highly preferred, but not required.
Qualified applicants must be at least 21 years of age or older, have a valid driver's license and car insurance.
