Our Child and Family Support Program is looking for a Family Outreach Worker (FOW) to join our team right now! Come find your purpose while you make valuable, rewarding impacts in the lives of the individuals we serve.

As a Family Outreach Worker, you will perform mission-guided work in a supportive environment. Training is provided. Responsibilities will include facilitating family meetings, providing in-home support to prevent children from coming into DCYF custody, coaching families to have safe and nurturing time with their children who are placed in DCYF custody, and case management services. Additional responsibilities include supporting families to work on the goals of their case plan, coordinating and facilitating treatment team meetings, collaborating with community service providers, creating safety plans or action plans with the family and providing parent education. We are looking for someone who understands the complex issues facing families, including addiction, substance abuse, domestic violence and generational poverty.

Qualifications:The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field, strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills. Two (2) years of experience in a related field. This position also requires a vehicle with insurance that meets our agency coverage requirements.

Hours: This is a full time (40 hours/week), salaried position offering a salary range of $40,000 - $42,000 depending on education and experience and a wide range of benefits.
