Our client is seeking an experienced, dynamic Family Nurse Practitioner to join one of our FQHC primary care facilities, located in beautiful Southern Oregon. We serve 28,000 patients annually throughout our six health care centers, dental clinic, and mobile health center. We are an innovative non-profit organization, focused on providing exceptional health care to all who have barriers to access, and include integrative behavioral and dental health care in our practices.

Qualifications

  • BC graduate from an accredited school
  • Must have an active Oregon license
  • Must possess CPR certification and active DEA license
  • 3+ years experience treating chronic medical conditions
  • Prefer experience with low-income children and families and in migrant and community health
  • Fluent in English w/Spanish proficiency a plus

Seeking a Nurse Practitioner for our Advanced Wound Center At Asante in Medford, Oregon The Advanced Wound Center at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center has a dynamic team who are passionate about the work they do. Our team is dedicated full time specifically to wound care. This position is best suited for an individual who is a strong team member, enjoys wound care and developing new skills and is comfortable with a physically active work environment. The Advanced Wound Center Nurse Practitioner serves a very diverse body of patients of all ages. Working effectively as a team member is essential. Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford is a Level 2 trauma center and regional referral hospital that offers a wide range of high-quality medical care to residents of Southern Oregon. This 378-bed hospital is a state-of-the-art facility. The clinic is open Monday-Friday and closed for 7 major holidays. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education: Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required. Licensure: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) and Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing required upon start. Certifications: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start. Certified Wound Specialist preferred.Obtaining a National Wound Care certification will be required within one year of start date. Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges; Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs; Provider shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage. Experience: At least 1 year of independent practice experience as a Nurse Practitioner or extensive wound care experience working under protocols as a WOCN/WCN required. Two or more years of experience preferred. Other Qualifications:Must have the ability to analyze problems, recognize causes, and devise and implement solutions. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others and show consideration and respect for internal and external customers also required.
