Excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner with a practice-building mindset in small but busy, fast-paced, exciting, and growing Allergy Practice.

Our growing, innovative Scottsdale practice seeks a driven, knowledgeable, skillful Nurse Practitioner, mindful to detail and able to keep up with our fast-paced, rapidly growing practice that is able to care deeply about our patients and our team but learn to operate independently that:

• Oversees follow-up patient care, following the treatment path and collaborating with the overseeing Allergist
• Performs comprehensive patient histories and physical exams
• Collaborates with referring physicians
• Orders and interprets further diagnostic tests
• Teaching, leading, and developing staff, interns, and learners of various levels
• Enthusiastic to develop and keep a large patient following
• Familiar and observant of all medical regulations, including HIPAA, OIG and OSHA compliance policies, etc.
• Keep patient satisfaction and loyalty high
• Great communications with patients including fielding medical questions and calls from patients
• Education of patients
• Willingness to learn and be adept at basic procedures of practice, including spirometry, allergy skin testing, pulmonary function testing, and administration of immunotherapy and enthusiasm to learn more advanced procedures over time
• Willingness and comfort treating and overseeing treatment of anaphylaxis and flares of conditions such as asthma attacks
• Willingness to assist in day-to-day optimal functioning of the clinic and adhere to boundaries set up by supervising Physician and help keeping the Physician’s clinic running smoothly
• Ability to be confident treating follow-up patients autonomously over time but understanding limitations of knowledge

Nurse Practitioner Requirements

? Problem solving skills, flexible, efficient and able to multitask

? Ability to provide excellent patient care and good bedside manner

? Nurse Practitioner: Must be a graduate of an accredited university. Master of Science in Nursing required. Must be licensed or eligible to practice as a NP in the State of Arizona. Must have national certification.

? Strong Internal Medicine and/or Emergency Room or ICU experience helpful

? Strong computer skills in an Electronic Medical Record preferably eClinicalWorks.

? Current RN license, Advanced Practice Certificate, and Prescribing and Dispensing Certificate in AZ.

? Certification as nurse practitioner by an approved certifying organization.

? BLS, PALS and ACLS credential is required upon hire and must be valid for 90 days or greater from start date.

? Maintains BLS/ACLS/PALS competency.
