The Community Services Department is hosting a job fair on

Thursday, July 11th from 1:00pm

  • 5:00pm

The Job Fair will take place atLegends Hall 285 Shady Oaks Drive, Southlake TX.Please use the lower Legends Hall entrance.

We're hiring for the following positions:

Recreation Attendant

  • Child Watch, Guest Services, Programs, Athletics, Fitness, and Pickleball - $14.38/hour

Recreation Specialist

  • Fitness - $15.85/hour

Lifeguard / Learn to Swim Instructor -$16.00/hour

Lifeguard Lead / Learn to Swim Instructor Lead -$18.00/hour

This is a job fair is for late summer/fall employment. We are not filling summer only positions. The anticipated start date for all individuals hired at the job fair is Monday, July 22nd.

Recreation Attendant, Child Watch: As part of our Child Watch Division, you'll be responsible for looking after Champion Club's youngest members! Child Watch team members look after children 6 weeks to 9 years old to ensure they have a fun and safe time.

Recreation Attendant, Guest Services: As part of our Guest Services Division, you'll provide and monitor customer-focused programs, membership services, and facility operations for the Recreation Division. This is accomplished by delivering exceptional guest services which include greeting all guests upon arrival and interacting with citizens, volunteers, City officials, employees, and the general public.

Recreation Attendant, Programs: As a part of our Programs Division, you'll be assisting our team with youth programming and special events! This includes assisting program participants, setting up rooms, and working on popular Southlake events like Breakfast with Santa!

Recreation Attendant, Athletics: As part of our Athletics Division, you'll be responsible for managing the day of operations for youth athletics leagues. Sports include volleyball, basketball, and flag football. Staff is responsible for setting up games and practices and offering world-class customer service to all participants!

Fitness

Recreation Attendant, Fitness:As part of our Fitness Division, you'll beresponsible for organizing and cleaning equipment, providing high customer services with members, and enforcing fitness floor rules and regulations.

Recreation Specialist, Fitness:As a Recreation Specialist, you'll beresponsible forproviding high quality programming for the fitness division by delivering exceptional guest services which include interacting with citizens, volunteers, city officials, employees, and the general public. Specialistlevel positions require a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

Pickleball Attendant: As part of our Pickleball Division, you will provide and monitor member focused pickleball programming and court use for the Southlake Pickleball Complex. This includes checking in and registering new members, monitoring court usage, monitoring rule compliance, concession sales, and maintaining the cleanliness of the facility.

Aquatics

If you are interested in joining our Aquaticsdivision, you will be considered for the following positions:

Lifeguard:As a Lifeguard, you'll monitor the Champions Club aquatic facility, enforce rules and regulations, act immediately and appropriately in the event of an emergency, provide emergency care and treatment as necessary until the arrival of emergency medical services, and interact with citizens, volunteers, City officials, employees, and our guests.

Learn to Swim Instructor: As a Learn to Swim Instructor, you'll provide learn-to-swim and water safety programs at Champions Club. This is accomplished by teaching learn to swim and water safety programs; interacting with citizens, volunteers, City officials, employees, and the general public.

Lifeguard Lead:As a Lifeguard Lead, you'll ensure the safety of each patron utilizing the aquatic facility at Champions Club. This is accomplished by assisting in the hiring, training, and scheduling of part-time and seasonal employees; monitoring the aquatics facility; enforcing all rules and regulations; and supervising part-time and seasonal employees in the absence of the Aquatics Supervisor or Aquatics Coordinator.Lead level positions require a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

Learn to Swim Instructor Lead:As a Learn to Swim Instructor Lead, you'll develop and manage learn to swim and water safety programs and learn to swim instructors at The Marq Southlake. This is accomplished by planning, coordinating, monitoring, and teaching learn to swim and water safety programs; and supervising part-time and seasonal employees in the absence of the Aquatics Supervisor or Aquatics Coordinator.Lead level positions require a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
