The Leonardo DRS Land Electronics business provides C4I Network computing and integrated situational awareness, as well as state-of-the-art embedded diagnostics, vehicle power management and combat vehicle integration products and services.

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

• Assist Quality Engineer in assessing measures of performance through data collection, reporting and analysis

• Support projects and processes that ensure continuously improving value to our customers and business units

• Assist Quality Engineers with data mining, reporting and analysis

• Observe and identify process improvement opportunities to Quality Engineering

• Verify process control activities and report deficiencies as appropriate

• Initiate quality alerts for potential process and product discrepancies that may affect performance

• Prepare audit plans and checklists for all product lifecycle quality-related activities

• Assist Quality Engineers with root cause analysis investigations and corrective action development

• Investigate internal audit-related findings and help coordinate activities to resolve issues

• Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

Job Responsibilities Part II

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in 4-year STEM degree (science, technology, engineering or mathematics), as a junior or senior with at least a 3.0 GPA

• In-depth knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)

• Ability to work 20-25 hours/week on-site

• Effective communication skills

• Ability to apply basic problem-solving skills

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and team members
