Internship: Guidance, Navigation, and Control

Interns work directly with our experienced engineers in support of our business units New Shepard, New Glenn, Blue Engines, and Advanced Development Programs. Projects may involve all aspects of GNC engineering including guidance, navigation, controls, autonomy, avionics, simulation, system test, aero sciences, and systems engineering. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. This internship will last 15 weeks (September-December).
Basic Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or MBA program and have at least one semester of school remaining after the internship.
Available to work full time for a minimum of 15 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Desired:
Students who have acquired a junior or higher academic standing by the start of the internship are preferred.
Relevant internship/co-op and academic project experience that demonstrate development of both technical skills as well as leadership qualities.
Hands-on project experience.
Passion for space.
