Own the design process from concept sketches, wireframes, prototyping and visual design through an iterative approach
Advocate, enforce and build upon iterative design methodology to help the team work quickly and effectively
Participate and facilitate design sprints
Test the prototypes you build with real customers and incorporate feedback into your design
Tell a story creatively and visually
What you may learn as an intern
Testing, developing, implementing and supporting applications systems
Coding and testing computer programs
Planning and estimating time needed to develop code
Performing basic testing
Performing other related duties as requested

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to think and work independently within a professional setting
Analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Flexibility to work within a multi-discipline team and receive dynamic on-the-job training
Highly organized; ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
Understanding of design research - ethnography, user and market research
Experience in visual design, graphic design, illustration, and information graphics
Design thinking - facilitation of design thinking workshops, design sprints
Agile (e.g. SCRUM) scrum experience
Understanding of how design and development affect each other
