Fairfield Acura is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to join our Service Facility in Fairfield, OH. If you are an experienced Service Technician with a positive attitude, a passion for excellence, and a proven successful track record, we may have the perfect opportunity for you!

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive dispatchers' repair orders and take them to the stall area.

• Perform work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, by the dealership and factory standards.

• Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.

• Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.

• Notify the service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required, or if repairs will need additional time

• Road-test vehicles when required.

• Attend factory-sponsored training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.

• Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean.

• Keep the shop area neat, and clean, and be able to always account for all dealership-owned tools.

Service Technician - Requirements:

• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications

• State Vehicle Inspector Certification

• Manufacturer Training as required

• Saturday availability

• 3 years of general automotive maintenance and service experience required

• Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with others

• Valid driver's license and a good driving record

• Basic computer skills
