Baker University seeks qualified applicants for a Faculty Coordinator and Instructional Designer position in the Academic Services Department of the School of Professional and Graduate Studies (SPGS). This position reports to the Director of Faculty Services and is responsible for graduate adjunct faculty course scheduling and preparation. Course preparation includes leading online course development with the adjunct faculty and maintaining processes for connecting e-book materials to Moodle courses. Additional responsibilities include training adjunct faculty, scheduling peer reviews for graduate programs, providing reports based on course preparation, and distribution of teaching assignments.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, performance technology, or related discipline (graduate degree preferred).
Instructional or training experience (at least 3 years preferred).
Computer proficiency with common computer applications, web-conferencing tools, and learning management systems (Moodle preferred).
Effective organizational and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time management skills and independent problem-solving abilities.
Ability to uphold FERPA laws.
