Broad Function: Teaches doctoral-level courses in the APA-accredited PsyD Academic Program, serves on doctoral project committees, and advises students.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Teaches three courses per semester.

• Prepares course syllabi and materials, including lectures and exams.

• Submits student grades to the Registrar's Office by deadline.

• Participates in Comprehensive Doctoral Examinations.

• Supervises students working on Doctoral Research projects.

• Participates in student admission process.

• Performs student advisement.

• Participates in accreditation process.

• Monitors students needing remediation.

• Participates in faculty meetings.

• Conducts mid-term and final student evaluations twice a term.

• Submits required academic reports and forms, in a timely and accurate manner.

• Actively participates in institutional meetings and committees.

• Maintains required work hours, including posted office hours.

• Participates in Annual Graduation Ceremony.

• Reports to the Program Director.

• Encouraged to conduct research, apply for grants, and publish in professional journals.

• Maintain professional membership in professional organizations, participate in continuing education activities, and professional licensure in good standing.

• Other duties as assigned by the Program Director.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Full-time faculty members must hold a Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program. Applicant must also be licensed or licensed eligible in the State of Florida.
