PURPOSE OF JOB
Teach coursework in the Graphic Design Program
Develop curriculum and provide training and student support to produce graduates who meet entry-level employment criteria for positions in the Graphic Design field.
PRIMARY DUTIES
You must be able to demonstrate competence in:
Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign (proficiency with one or all three of these packages counts as one package)
Microsoft Word and Excel
Would be a plus: Experience with HTML, CSS and Dreamweaver
Teach
Support students
Prepare students for employment
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

WORK SCHEDULE
Part time - Hours will vary based on course being taught
ADDITIONAL FACTORS
Must pass criminal back ground check prior to starting position.
Compensation includes:
Instructional time (based on 55 hour, 44 hour, or 33 hour schedule)
Preparation time
Grading
Office hours and other formal and informal interaction with the students; i.e., telephone, email
Three hours per quarter of faculty meetings/in-service training
Eight hours of pre-service training provided by the Center for Teaching and Learning
