Responsible to deliver Factory Store Channel revenue and profit goals by advocating, developing, and driving business strategy initiatives in order to enhance the productivity, profitability, and overall performance.

Maximize channel sales and customer experience objectives by providing direction and communication to District and Store Managers.
Partner with finance to establish Channel financial goals/objectives, such as sales plans and travel budgets.
Implement and drive selling strategy in order to reach quarterly and annual sales goals.
Provide leadership and development to District Managers, identifying and implementing career training needs and opportunities.
Ensure that proper channels of communication exist between the Factory Channel and Home Office/strategic partners.
Assist in the proactive and reactive establishment, implementation, and management of policies and procedures for Vera Bradley Factory stores.
Develops operational plans to ensure operational consistency, gross margin results, and control operational costs.
Presents financial and operational results to CSO during weekly business review.
Ensures brand strategy is consistently executed across all stores, and also including customer service, product knowledge and visual merchandising standards.
Identify real estate opportunities for the Factory channel and recommend strategic store placement.
Ensure the success of new store openings as it relates to results, talent, and brand strategy.
Through reporting and analysis, assure operating procedures are followed and provide ongoing strategy and quality improvement processes.
Partner with Loss Prevention and Human Resources to provide guidance and expertise in compliance with company policies and protocols.
Lead the semiannual talent review and succession planning at both the store and district levels for the Factory Line channel.
Travel with Retail VP as directed.
Maintain a full leadership complement of leaders in the Factory Channel.
Represent Factory Channel in appropriate company meetings as directed by CSO.
Assist in planning and management of the Vera Bradley Annual Outlet Sale.

Strong PC skills utilizing Microsoft Office software
Knowledge of POS systems required. Datavantage Store 21 knowledge preferred.
Proven ability to manage, coach and develop others
Strong analytical skills
Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent organization and follow through skills
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers and handle situations with confidence, tact and resourcefulness
Flexible, adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast paced office environment
Strong team player

Travel up to 75% of the time, and work a flexible schedule
Valid driver's license with good motor vehicle record. Must be 21 years of age and must carry company mandated liability limits.
