Location: Downtown Chicago, Illonois

As a Facilities Specialist on the Real Estate and Facilities team, you'll primarily be responsible for facilities management operations for the SAP Chicago area locations to support up to 4 locations: 2 suburban and 2 city offices. You will oversee office operations and amenity programs including vendor management, facilities services, building maintenance, janitorial service, health and safety, sustainability and security. While you'll work independently, you will build strong and trusted relationships at all levels and collaborate effectively with local clients, service providers and extended team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the team who manages the daily operations of the offices including reception, events, space planning, move coordination and restacking, lunch programs, security and ticketing systems.

  • Provide Chicago Area support for facilities projects, including new construction, tenant improvements and minor alterations and other ad hoc projects.

  • Manage vendor contracts and building management services including purchase orders, invoice processing, financial tracking, vendor interactions, quotes, and reports.

  • Responsible for data accuracy and reporting including: space utilization, seating/space records, move sheets, etc.

  • Monitor and achieve high level of customer and quality satisfaction for key business measurements.

  • Acts as an effective "change agent" by reviewing current processes, policies, and practices and initiate discussion and recommendations regarding the benefit of change.

  • Ensure facility experience for these hi-touch sites meets the needs of senior leadership and accommodates active customer presence.

Education & Experience:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5+ years of functional experience relevant to office facilities or real estate management.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple requests and work in a fast-paced office environment, with effective management and leadership skills.

  • Excellent customer service and people skills, with ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations.
