Systems & Technology Research (STR) is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic Facility Security Officer (FSO) with working knowledge of Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) duties to join our growing Security and IT organization at our Dayton, OH office.
The FSO/CPSO is a multidisciplinary security position requiring a qualified security professional in support of Collateral Programs, as well as supporting Special Compartmentalized Information (SCI) programs and Special Access Programs (SAP). The FSO/CPSO is responsible for the management, direction, administration and development of security programs and procedures for those assigned programs that have contractually imposed security requirements in excess of normal National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) requirements. The FSO/CPSO is the primary interface with government agencies regarding assigned program security matters and requirements. The FSO/CPSO will complete the PAR process, prepare for inspections, process visit requests, conduct security briefings, refreshers and debriefings, maintain access rosters, classified mail, and IDS/access management systems and perform other duties as assigned.
The primary mission is to support STR by meeting the needs of our customers by being compliant with Department of Defense and Intelligence Community requirements. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, an aptitude for collaborative problem solving, excellent communication and reporting skills, maintains good customer relations and enjoys working in a dynamic environment.
