The Facility Project Supervisor will be responsible forassisting the Facility Building Manager in the successful completion of constructionprojects, managing all phases of projects from design through construction anddocument delivery. S/he will also work closely with the Maintenance Supervisorsin ensuring quality of maintenance work at each site. This position will alsobe the lead person for the department as well as managing the Logistics and

Drivers team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Supervises and assigns the work of logistics and drivers team

  • Participates in department-wide resource allocation, planning and forecasting

  • Participates in business development and professional development activities

  • Responsible for quality control/audits of all NEMS' clinics

  • Assists in the development of project budget and timeline, manages proposals and contracts

  • Develops policies and procedures for the Facility department ensuring best practices

  • Communicates with vendors, contractors, sub-contractors to resolve project details and issues

  • Collaborates with Maintenance Supervisors' ensuring projects/renovations are completed on time

  • Direct supervision of a department involving responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and personnel. Responsible for carrying out supervisory/managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and hiring of employees; planning, assigning, scheduling, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Performs other job duties as required by manager/supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of a four year degree from an accredited University

  • 2+ years of project management experience

  • Working knowledge of blue prints required

  • Excellent communication, written, organization and management skills

  • Strong relationship building skills

  • Demonstrated history of success in leading a team and managing multiple projects

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

  • Prior supervisory experience preferred

  • Experience with Property Management preferred

  • Knowledge of California Commercial Tenant laws highly desirable

LANGUAGE:

  • Must be able to fluently read, write and speak English

  • The ability to fluently speak Chinese ( Cantonese and/or Mandarin) highly desired

STATUS:

  • This is an FLSA Exempt position.

  • This is not an OSHA high-risk position.

About the role: We're looking for a Global Director of Facilities to join our San Francisco office to build a world class facility operations to support the Cruise portfolio. This role works closely with our Real Estate, Project Delivery and Workplace teams to deliver the program of projects in flight that support our employees and the development of the our product. This role will lead Cruise's building operations, service contracts, facility projects and energy management. This role reports to the Cruise Global Director of Real Estate and Facilities. Day-to-day responsibilities Include: * Manages and leads all Regional Facility managers for Cruise's Global Facility Operations. * Evaluation of lifecycle cost & payback * Deferred maintenance strategy * Leads Global Vendor strategy and is responsible for maintaining and validating that all SLA's are met * Manages and forecasts all operating budgets and Deferred Maintenance/ Maintenance plans * Ensures reliability and performance of our facilities * Drives operational and process improvements that drive savings, continuous improvement, and improved productivity & efficiency. * Coordinates with all services lines and SME's to ensure a Cruise Workplace experience * Oversees negotiations for all contracts and services * Sets the strategy for staffing model for Cruise's locations across multiple markets * Accountable to ensure that all Cruise Facilities are in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations * Leads Energy Strategy and Sustainability Program for our Real Estate Assets. Supervisory Responsibilities: * Formal supervision of Regional Facility Managers. Matrixed management of other Cruise Real Estate Team members. * Supervision of 3rd party Facility Service contracts. * Ability to build and lead a world class facilities management team focused on an outstanding employee experience in the physical environment * Possess excellent management and leadership skills and the ability to motivate and work with and through others to achieve desired results.
