Position Summary

The Facility Ops Team Member ensures cleanliness of the facility while delivering great customer service. To do so, they are responsible for ensuring the club space is stocked with supplies, clean, and is up to Life Time's standards of presentation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains indoor and outdoor club cleanliness and safety by performing daily maintenance tasks

  • Washes, folds, and stocks member towels and ensures the locker rooms are neat, and orderly

  • Ensures the usage of locker room consumables, cleaning products, and chemicals follow the amount prearranged by the department budget

  • Responds to member inquiries regarding Life Time products, services, policies and procedures

  • Attends department and "all club" meetings

Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.

  • Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time

FACILITY OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR This position is responsible to oversee building operations; including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, and waste management. Oversee contractors involved in facility projects and delivery of services. Ensure services are handled in an efficient, customer-focused manner. Manage UCare's Emergency Procedures and response teams. Provide after hours on-call support and response to emergency building issues. Assist in the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of company facilities and properties as needed. * Manage effective relationships with property managers and oversee building maintenance and grounds projects. Ensure maintenance schedules are sufficient to keep buildings in good repair. * Oversee space management to ensure adequate space is available for employees and contingent staff. * Ensure the record retention process is current and record coordinators and mail services staff are trained and follow the process. Collaborate with Compliance department to coordinate UCare's annual records cleanup event. * Manage building security systems and ensure surveillance cameras, building access, parking ramp and after hours security monitoring service are in good working order. Serve as liaison with technical staff, troubleshoot system issues, and schedule service and repair as required. Order building fobs as needed. * Manage UCare's Emergency Procedures and update as necessary. Recruit and train Evacuation and Early Responder team members and coordinate AED/CPR certification training for Early Responder team. Oversee annual drills for building evacuation, shelter-in, and AED/CPR. * Assist in the development and execution of large scale office relocation, build-out, and reconfiguration projects. * Oversee UCare's WAH program and coordinate transition to WAH process with employee, their supervisor and IT. * Supervise team members; include directing and prioritization of work activities, mentoring, delegate duties, evaluations, and disciplinary actions. * Provide general oversite of 600 Stinson security guard service. * Maintain working knowledge of FM:Interact and other databases and provide back-up support as needed. * Supervise team members; include directing and prioritization of work activities, mentoring, delegate duties, evaluations, and disciplinary actions. * Provide general oversite of 600 Stinson security guard service. * Maintain working knowledge of FM:Interact and other databases and provide back-up support as needed. * Maintain current knowledge of the facility management and building management industries. * Other projects and duties as assigned. Education Bachelor's degree in business or a related field; demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Required Experience Three years' experience in facility management. Experience with responsibility for overall facility operations and administration, including space planning and design, managing vendor/services relationships, staff supervision, and managing safety and security operations. Knowledge of all facility operations including mechanical and building systems, maintenance, construction, furniture systems, and security. Broad knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and contract negotiations. Proficient with Microsoft office software and database management.
