Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team at our corporate headquarters in Tempe, AZ. This role is essential in ensuring our facilities are operational, safe, and welcoming. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing basic and routine maintenance, construction, and repair tasks across a variety of systems within our facility. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and requires a hands-on approach to maintenance and problem-solving.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform installations, inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, security, water treatment and waste management systems, adhering to service, quality, and safety standards.

• Assist with miscellaneous facility projects, including but not limited to painting, drywall, carpentry, fixture installation, and moving furniture or materials.

• Utilize a work order system to accurately log activities, ensuring all tasks are documented and completed as required.

• Collaborate with and assist trades contractors on projects or complex repairs to ensure high-quality outcomes.

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain the facility's operational efficiency and safety compliance i.e.) EPA, OSHA regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in facility maintenance or a similar role.

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems found within a commercial or industrial facility.

• Experience with basic construction, repair tasks, and the use of standard maintenance tools.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Ability to work under moderate supervision, with a strong capability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the capacity to work alongside and assist trades contractors.

• Familiarity with using work order systems for logging and tracking maintenance activities.

• Must have at least a basic understanding of MS Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel.

Working Conditions:

This position may require the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in various environmental conditions. Flexibility to respond to emergency maintenance issues outside of standard working hours is also necessary. Must have a valid driver's license.

Location:

Tempe, AZ. This position has a hybrid schedule. Candidates must reside near the local Amkor office or be willing to relocate to be considered.
