Facility Maintenance

Shift: This role is 1st Shift, 9:30 AM-6:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $26.00 an hour

We are hiring for a Facility Maintenance Technician to help maintain the facility that produces our delicious Duke's Meat Snacks products at our Macomb, MI manufacturing facility. You will report to a Maintenance Manager and join a team of about 60.

Shift: 9:30am-6pm Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays based on production needs. This shift may be variable based on business needs.

You will work mandatory overtime and weekends.

Location: 23 Mile Rd & Hayes

Hourly Rate: $26.00

You Will:

• Ensure our plant facilities/utilities systems are maintained operational, identify repairs, and maintain plant operational equipment

• Order parts/supplies

• Maintain Maintenance and Warehouse inventory

• Operate a forklift and help load/unload trucks

• Support the Warehouse team

• Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including receiving parts and materials

• Perform specialized maintenance projects throughout our facility

• Assist Maintenance Techs and Administrative staff as assigned

• Maintain and complete scheduled PMs

• Complete general facility maintenance

• Address safety concerns/risks proactively

• Oversee contractors working on-site, ensuring compliance with our policies while maintaining positive working relationships

• Act as a backup for shipping/receiving

You Have:

• Working knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Word, Outlook email

• The ability to drive a forklift

• A desire to increase mechanical/electrical knowledge by working side-by-side with Maintenance Technicians for additional support

• 2 years Maintenance experience

• 2 years Forklift experience
