Job Description: Facility Integration Clinical Engineer
We are currently seeking a Facility Integration Clinical Engineer to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role include overseeing outsourced vendors and service providers, taking technical ownership of applications related to clinical equipment and facility/building management, and managing vendor relationships.
Responsibilities:
Oversight of outsourced vendors and service providers to ensure effective and efficient service delivery
Technical ownership of applications relating to clinical equipment and facility/building management, such as nurse call systems, temperature tracking systems, anesthesiology carts, OR systems, door entry systems, and security systems
Management of application vendors and local distributors to ensure timely support and maintenance
Assisting in the installation of devices and applications as needed
Tracking costs and collecting data related to facility integration projects
Providing oversight of end-user training for each application, ensuring staff are knowledgeable and proficient in their use
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, or related field
Previous experience in a clinical engineering role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting
Strong technical expertise in applications related to clinical equipment and facility/building management
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
