CGI Federal is seeking a Facility Engineering Technician, Electronics Technician Maintenance III Level, individual to support FBI in Pocatello, ID with the new Data Center.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Performs maintenance and service repairs on critical Data Center systems (UPS,
PDU, Diesel Generators, ATS equipment and Building Controls, Chillers, CRAH, etc.), as
Well as all industrial electrical equipment and systems that include power distribution components/wiring, electronic components and lighting systems throughout the data center campus, to ensure efficient operation and adherence with relevant codes.
Operate and inspect emergency power generation and reliability equipment;
Determining systems are functioning properly and that maintenance is performed in accordance with original manufacturer's recommendations. Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with approved MOPs and the Vantage's Mission Critical Facility work rules.
Performs work per required MOPs and SOPs. Perform periodic technical and quality reviews of all MOPS and SOPS to ensure that the most "up-to-date" techniques and safety guidelines are utilized. Daily walk-through of Facility documenting parameters such as power availability, temperature and humidity, alarm status, etc. to be catalogued and compared for identification of discrepancies and trends.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Active Top Secret Clearance Required
5+ years of relevant experience
Experience working with plumbing, electrical and or HVAC systems
Experience working with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to design and fabricate
Solid experience in mission critical facilities operating / engineering, including experience with mission critical infrastructure (UPS, HVAC, generators, cooling, fire/life safety systems, BMS). Data center experience is strongly preferred, but we also will consider experience in hospitals, nuclear plants, military, etc.).*
Expert, hands-on electrical or mechanical skill and competence in the area of non-expertise (for example, electrical expertise with mechanical competence or vice versa). Electrical skill and experience are currently preferred, but we will also consider those with strong mechanical talent.
The ability to:
oComprehend, analyze and interpret complex project documents, including AutoCAD, Visio and PDF documents.
oManage projects effectively.
oDevelop installation standards and project tracking/management documents.
oInteract effectively with managers, clients, customers and vendors.
