What You Will Do

• Participate actively to ERIM deployment with production teams

• Manage a global equipment reliability action plan

• Optimize maintenance costs during corrective and preventive maintenance activities

• Implement Maintenance Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC) red box and Maintenance department visual key indicators

• Detect refurbishing / renewal needs, build and follow potential necessary action plan

• Lead the delegation of preventative maintenance level 2 and 2

• Ensure that employees are properly trained and that OJT is in place.

• Ensure Preventative Maintenance is organized and done according to need, with the plan and communication to the production teams (MPS).

• Lead Kaizen actions to improve in maintenance field

• Manage a productivity action plan (spare parts, energy)

• manage VPS workshops (TPM, 5S)

• Propose and manage the maintenance budget

• Ensure that maintenance is contributing to new equipment launches and participate in Lean Process Design

• Ensure that rules concerning equipment manufacturer assistance onsite/at distance are involved in specifications and contract negotiated

• Establish all necessary maintenance contracts with suppliers in case of energy

• Find new methods/equipment to reduce energy consumption.

• Control the energy consumption compared to the budget.

• Prepare the energy budget for the upcoming year(s).

• Participate, alongside Purchasing, in the yearly contract negotiation with all maintenance suppliers.

• Participate, alongside Purchasing, in maintenance contract re-negotiation for the utilities & big equipment

• Maintain Valeo visual standard both inside and outside of the building.

• Control water handling in all aspect ( drinking, waste, rain, fire )

• Maintain cooling/heating, fresh air and all water systems

• Maintain all logistic related equipment.

• Manage the cleaning, gardening, snow removal services.

• Maintain all equipment in the breakroom

• Manage team members time, attendance, training and performance.

• Support site quotes, specification and construction.

• Manage facility related project.

What you should have

• Mechanical skills

• Knowledge of HVAC and other building systems

• Experience in planning and maintaining facility budgets

• Contract handling experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred).

• 5-10 years of experience in an industrial, process or maintenance field.
