To be successful in this role, the individual must be willing to help others in the mill as needed, build positive employee relationship, adapt easily to frequently changing priorities, maintain a positive attitude, as well as handle highly confidential information on a daily basis with discretion and professionalism. The position requires a self-starter who can anticipate the needs of multiple managers, prioritize his/her own work effectively and convey a positive image to community and corporate stakeholders.

This position provides a wide range of support for the Henderson Mill, reporting to the HR Manager. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Completes weekly hourly payroll including managing the leave of absence processes, labor analysis reports and attendance tracking reports

  • Performing financial support functions including assisting with month end activities and budgeting requirements, completing templates using data from multiple sources, and back up liaison to mill lead team for financial updates

  • Administrative maintenance needs such as maintaining the document library and converting electronic maintenance files

  • Maintaining employee data for the mill, including mill distribution lists, updating mill org charts, Sharepoint, ordering service awards and updating tracking spreadsheets, mill training data, etc and assists with records retention compliance

  • Provide assistance to the mill including ordering supplies, assembling materials, ordering and coordinating meals, etc

  • Helping with coordination of mill and community special events including dropping deposits, completing check requests for mill donations

  • Additional duties are required by mill needs

Position requirements includes an associate's degree or three years of administrative experience preferably with payroll administration experience. A minimum of five years' administrative experience is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and excellent computer skills, good analytical skills and outstanding communication skills required.
