So, what does a TaskUs Facilities Technician really do? Think of yourself as the backbone to our facility, you are crucial to the overall safety, cleanliness, maintenance, and upkeep of our 65,000 square foot site. Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: making sure our employees, clients, and visitors have a ridiculous experience onsite at the most immaculate, safe, and coolest site ever.

You love thinking outside the box when it comes to repairs and processes.

  • Performs work according to standard procedure and by building's operational schedule.

  • Makes minor carpentry, electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs.

  • Sets up and tears down chairs, tables and equipment for meetings or site functions.

  • Prepares rooms for use by internal and external organizations.

  • Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs.

  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)

  • Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)

  • Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations

  • Follows all applicable safety rules security procedures.

  • Assists in shipping and receiving of supplies and materials.

  • Report any issues to the Site Facility Lead.

  • Participates in general cleaning, painting, and repair work.

  • Uses hand tools and power tools in making minor maintenance repairs and maintaining grounds and walks.

  • Provides assistance to officials, staff, visitors, and other employees as necessary.

  • Checks building at beginning and end of shifts, ensuring things are clean/tidy and addressing any issues


  • High school degree

  • 1+ year(s) previous experience in maintenance supervision or related field

  • Positive attitude and a problem-solver

  • Computer skills; may include scheduling with Google Suite or similar software

  • Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices

  • Accurate and precise attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to physically climb ladders, stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 15 to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to work occasionally in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.

  • Ability to work overnight/non traditional hours, on an "as needed" basis.

Nice To Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, business management or related field preferred.

We are ideally looking for someone with advanced diagnostic and repair skills for Recreational Vehicle (RV) coach systems, generators and coach body repairs. Someone who is passionate about fixing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance problems would be ideal. A successful Recreational Vehicle (RV) Technician will have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated and well-versed in all maintenance and repairs. Camping World will pay to certify individuals not already certified. Pay is based on experience and a flat-rate fee structure with uncapped earning potential. Essential Job Functions: * Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers * Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance * Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements * Keep supervisor appraised of work progress * Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee * Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers * Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned Essential Job Skills: * Certification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is certainly helpful but, we also consider applicable work experience * Minimum 1 year service technician experience or related fields preferred * RVIA certification helpful but not required * Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending * May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices * Potential exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment * Possible exposure to environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness * Prolonged periods of standing, stooping , crawling and bending Must furnish own hand/shop tools * Valid driver's license We promote a drug-free work environment.
