SportsEngine is looking for an outgoing, hard-working, full time Facilities Technician to aid in the efficient functioning of our office. What does that mean? It means we have a fast paced office with approximately 300+ people (and growing) and need someone to keep our space looking sharp. Facilities Technician Responsibilities will Include:
Prioritize and execute facility and maintenance requests and projects
Responsible for maintaining general office areas including hanging whiteboards, mounting equipment, changing lights, etc.
Responsible for layouts/moves, setup, and maintenance of desks, chairs, monitors, office furniture, equipment, etc.
Proactively identify office maintenance needs and improvements and address
Ensure Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) and physical security standards are implemented in alignment with corporate standards
Participate as needed in special department projects and events
Primary contact and coordination with building/facility management, contractors, and cleaners
Manage storage and shipping/receiving activities
Other duties as assigned
Facilities Technician Skills and Attributes:
Relevant experience in office maintenance a huge plus
Basic maintenance experience duties not limited to basic carpentry, painting, drywall repair, furniture moving, furniture assembly, general cleaning, and general labor
Strong ownership, organizational and prioritization skills
Listen and take direction well
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrate high level of motivation, consistency, and accuracy
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
Professional appearance and manner
Extremely resourceful with excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work flexible hours
Ability to lift approximately 25-30 lbs. and stand on a ladder
