The qualified candidate must be able to communicate & coordinate with customers and stakeholders regarding schedule and impact of work being performed. He/she will provides electrical related expertise for specificconcentrated areas within facility department. Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting electricaldistribution issues throughout manufacturing site Oversee contractors working onthe site electrical distribution system and support systems. Capable ofhandling all electrical issues that arise in the plant electrical distributionsystem.

Under minimal supervision, performsall responsible tasks necessary to operate, trouble shoot, service,adjust, repair and maintainfacilities equipment and utilities supporting manufacturing processes. Able to performa variety of tasks included but not limitedto monitoring and adjustment of utilities to improve throughputand equipment efficiency and implementation of corrective actions.Able to perform routine cleaning,housekeeping and non-routine maintenance with adherence to all safety, environmental and quality policies and procedures.

Equipment Set-up, Start-upchecks, Trouble-shooting, and repair.

  • Able toorder and receive material and perform the required identification and use on applicable business systems.

  • Perform and document equipment repairs as per Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Startup, operate and shutdown equipmentas per procedures.

  • Followenvironmental health and safety procedures during startup, shutdown,trouble shooting, and operation of equipment.

  • Perform setup, adjustment, troubleshooting and repair on a broad range of plant electricalequipment to operate efficiently, reliably, and within compliance standards.Read, interpret & draw equipment diagrams in support of equipment repair& design

  • Adjust equipment to optimize performance.Troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime. Propose long term improvements to equipment as continuousimprovement.

Equipment Cleaning &Housekeeping

  • Disassemble equipment to facilitate cleaning and ensure clean equipment/workspaceat task completion.

  • Perform manualcleaning of facilities and utilities equipment and room/suite.

  • Utilize controlsystems and appropriate instrumentation to cleanmajor equipment.

  • Maintain 5S status of facility maintenance areas.

Systems Knowledge

  • Utilize tools within MS office and other systemsto improve businesseffectiveness

  • Exposure to electronic batchrecords and/or other automated processes/systems (labs).

  • Basic ComputerizedMaintenance Management (CMMS) system knowledge.

  • Basic knowledge of an automated system.

Compliance-Safety; GMP, Facilities

  • Attend GMP trainingon the schedule designated for the role and as appropriate for the role.

  • Adhering to strictcompliance with procedures according to the roles and responsibilities.

  • Exercises the highestlevel of integrity in the tasks performed.

  • In a timely and prompt manner, identify,report and seek correction for deviations noted inthe workplace.

  • Embrace a behaviorof employee involvement and commitment to doing the job right thefirst time.

  • Strong working GMP knowledge. Communicates and identifies GMP gaps.

  • Takes necessary action to eliminate and immediately addresssafety hazards. Communicate any observed unsafebehaviors immediately.

  • Understands the safetyconcerns and promotesa safety conscience culture for theirjob function.

  • Wears the appropriate PPE whenworking in manufacturing and other hazardous working environments and advocates standardsof safety.

  • Maintains facility and work area in good working condition.

  • Works with team to ensure all aspectsof business remain compliant.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/secondary education or equivalent and/or technical certification or relative trade experience as a journeyman electrician.

  • A licensed electrician preferred

  • Minimum offour (4) years' experience in a regulated and automated manufacturing environment

  • Pharmaceutical/GMP experience is preferred

  • Candidates must be able to meet the physicaldemand of that this position requires: continuous liftingand/or moving from 5 to 25lbs. weight material, and frequent liftingor moving average (25-50 lbs.)weight material. REQUIRED

  • Musthave a proven ability to interact with other operators, management, and groupsinside and outsideof Manufacturing.

  • Candidates must have a basic working knowledgeof Microsoft Word and Excel. Required

  • A working knowledge of Facility AutomationSystems (i.e. Honeywell, Siemens, SAP) is preferred.

  • This role will be located in Fort Washington, PAand will be a Mon-Fri day shift 7:00 AM -3:30 PM.
