The Facilities Technician assists and performs routine facilities maintenance and repairs (including carpentry, furniture, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and various warehouse systems, etc.) as required. Performs general upkeep, cleaning, recycling, transportation, and other tasks as assigned to maintain a first-class facility.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform basic plumbing tasks.
Perform basic electrical tasks such as changing bulbs and troubleshooting.
Understand HVAC systems and maintenance routines.
Familiar with general commercial building electrical and mechanical systems.
Assist in general maintenance projects with the supervision of other staff.
Assist any roadside issues within reason. This includes but not limited to: changing flat tires, battery jumps, and cargo load/unload.
Monitor parking lot. This includes but not limited to: sweeping debris, reporting any fixture outages, reporting any suspicious activity, and emptying trash cans.
Work to maintain curb appeal throughout the facility. Power wash exterior locations as needed. Shampoo Carpets as needed. Clean windows and Conference Rooms as needed.
Perform vehicle Maintenance. Drive vehicles to be washed, have maintenance done and to pick up product.
Respond professionally to all internal customer's emails and greet guests.
Respond to all tasks and assignments professionally.
Work with minimum supervision.
Shuttle employees and VIP without incident.
Able to stand, walk, bend, twist grasp, push and pull for long periods of time.
Maneuver in an aisle 36" wide.
Able to lift 40lbs.
Read and understand labels.
Legally and safely operate vehicles and motorized equipment.
Seek guidance where applicable to help prioritize multiple priorities. Ability to take and follow direction.
Be punctual and dependable with few to no instances of unscheduled PTO.
Maintain a positive attitude, good teamwork, professionalism & interpersonal skills, proactively seeking solutions, taking initiative where necessary. Establishes and maintains effective relationships with business associates.
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
General work experience related to people, facilities, machinery etc.
Stable work/school history showing responsibility and professionalism
High School degree or GED
US Driver's License in good standing
Good math, verbal, written skills
Good interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills
