Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for all general maintenance; lighting, forklifts, compressors, cleanroom, generator, etc.

• Provides maintenance status updates to direct supervisor

• Coordinates and assists with facilities projects and moves, including; planning, supervision and completion of assigned projects

• Coordinates and assists with facility repairs and maintenance as needed

• Partners and assists with safety compliance and OSHA standards

• Maintains and operates motorized and mobile equipment

• May direct activities of facilities custodian, contractors and laborers

• Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department

• May perform other duties as assigned

Education, Training and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Associates degree in a related field, preferred

• 5 or more years of facilities and forklift operations experience, preferred

• Ability to utilize motorized moving equipment including; order picker, swing reach, scissor lifts, etc.

• Experienced with safety (OSHA) requirements

• Experience coordinating with outside vendors

• Electrical/plumbing/construction experience

• Basic familiarity with computer use required

• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred

• Proficient English abilities required

• Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies

• Excellent time-management skills

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with little to no supervision

Working Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions

• Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)

• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

• Push/pull up to 50 lbs.

• Frequent sitting, bending, and twisting

• Frequent climbing and exposure to heights

• Occasional stooping or crouching

• Use of power tools
