Description
POSITION PURPOSE:
Directly oversees facilities team and assists them in performing their duties, to ensure the efficient operation and timely maintenance of all heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment used in the daily operation of the properties. Ensure that the premises are clean and safe at all times. Conduct safety training as needed. Oversee the maintenance and correct operation of equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Schedules and delegates work to team members within the department during assigned shift.
Provides guidance and direction to the team and provides on the job training for team members.
Maintains and monitors attendance records for assigned team members.
Make recommendations to the next level of management regarding hiring, developing, coaching and corrective action needed for team members.
Provides input for the performance evaluation.
Oversees plumbing repair and replacement of facets and drains.
HVAC tasking including, tightening of belts, inspection of pulleys, and troubleshooting of the equipment.
Assists with preparation of special events.
Carpentry including patching, building and repair of structural damage. Painting interior/exterior of the buildings.
Provides constructive input to foster process improvement within the department.
Maintains confidential information that is received in verbal, written, and electronic media. Limits access to information on a job-related, need-to-know basis.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED Certificate required.
Vocational or Technical Training from a certified school.
2+ years of supervisory management experience preferred.
Must be skilled in electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general maintenance.
Must have understanding of kitchen equipment and refrigeration.
Analytical/mathematics skills essential.
Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal and guest relation's skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
Must be computer literate.
Excellent service approach when dealing with internal and external guests.
Able to read and comprehend written instructions.
Current and valid Oregon Drivers' License required, with the ability to qualify for the UIDC's Drivers Program.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must be able to obtain a Class III Gaming License.
Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance at all times. (Specific Standards available)
