JOB DESCRIPTION

BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION

Responsible for various internal and external activities relating to the corporate office's building and property.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company's policies, procedures and guidelines:

• Be the liaison between the facilities team and the customer in the building.

• Assist with coordinating efforts with outside contractors and vendors.

• Miscellaneous: facility maintenance, and special projects as assigned.

• Maintains various charts and spreadsheets.

• Perform periodic inspections of the facility.

• Assist with facility budget planning.

• Additional duties assigned by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND TRAINING:

• High School Diploma

• 2 years in facilities and/or safety.

• Knowledge of OSHA and other regulatory agencies.

• Forklift and some powered equipment experience preferred.

• Skilled in the use of PCs including Windows, Word, Excel and Lotus Notes.

• Solid communication skills (verbal and written), ability to interact with management, vendors, and a wide spectrum of individuals. Must have ability to persuade, explain and present recommendations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to lift, squat, reach, climb stairs and ladders, enter into small spaces and other physical requirements as necessary. The position will require walking, standing and sitting at a computer. Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.
