This position is onsite and is under the Facilities Site Services group, responsible for managing vendors and supporting onsite services for employees assigned at the Illumina Madison campus.
Responsibilities:
Ability to lead, manage, and provide metrics for onsite vendors that provide site services for employees and impact employee experience
Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues
Capability to provide substantial input into creation of OpEx budget and CapEx budget (as needed)
Assist with the RFP process for relevant vendors
Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
Track and reconcile purchase orders & invoicing with check ins with Financial Facilities Specialist
Makes recommendations for new procedures and drives optimization changes
P Card management including coordinating purchases and reconciliation
Provide management team with any metrics, reports, discrepancies, and escalations
Support operational set up of remote sites and build out of new office and common area spaces
Partner with local procurement team on project quotes and costs to ensure alignment with the budget
Work closely with accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
Collaboration with regional and global teams
Evaluates daily priorities and product allocations to support customer orders and internal requests
Works with local and regional management to ensure site alignment
Acquires and maintains a clear understanding of the technologies utilized in Illumina's processes

Requirements:
Requires Bachelor's Degree or related experience
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Able to do physical labor for periods of time
Able to stand, walk and lift / move items up to 50lbs for long periods of time
Understanding of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
Problem solving skills paired with ability to be proactive and foresee next steps
Willingness to complete a broad range of administrative responsibilities ranging from entry to senior level
Confidence to take delegated tasks and ask questions for clarification
The estimated base salary range for the Facilities Specialist role based in the United States of America is: $68,100 - $102,100. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
