BENEFITS: Full-Time Package

SALARY COMPENSATION PACKAGE: $78,835.00 - $81,771.00 Annually

WORK PERIOD: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM may include nights and weekends as needed (12 mo.)

Job Objective: Under the direction and general supervision of the Director of Facilities, the Facilities Project Manager provides general management, supervision, and professional direction for Construction projects and Facility needs. The Facilities Project Manager assists in the preparation and review of project plans and specifications, coordinates, inspects projects, and prepares all documentation required for the successful completion of projects. Maintain and facilitate schedule for construction projects. Provide quality assurance and control costs during construction phases. Facilitate communication between district and contractors/architects. Also required to supervise Facility personnel as needed.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma/GED required

Credentials: Valid Oklahoma driver's license as appropriate.

Ability to obtain forklift license.

Contractor License for one of the following trades: Electrical, Mechanical or Plumbing preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strengthens relationships by developing students and clients and staff, partnering with businesses and schools and collaborating with community leaders through participating in school or community activities.

  • Focuses on being a leader within the organization through personal accountability, active problem solving and positive forward thinking.

  • Focuses on continual improvement to assure quality products and excellent services to our customers and stakeholders.

  • Acts as the liaison been MNTC and related vendors by working and coordinating projects and activities for both campuses

  • Reviews plan, estimates, and schedules work assignments on school site improvements, modification of facilities, and/or new construction projects.

  • Assists in the development of formal project specifications for bid purposes and review bid specifications to assure their thoroughness and accuracy in relation to approved plans.

  • Confers with prospective contractors and solicit formal and informal bids; solicit and review proposals.

  • Reviews payment requests

  • Coordinates and submits payment applications for projects to assure the timely payment of work completed according to established policies and procedures.

  • Monitors and assures timely and appropriate development of projects and project schedules.

  • Coordinates site visits and pre-bid, pre-construction conferences, and attend job meetings as required.

  • Assists with pre-qualification and post-bid requirements.

  • Assists with monitoring construction contract compliance.

  • Prepares reports, maintains project records, and ensure compliance with current standards, codes, and ordinances.

  • Helps to assure that the work is completed within budgetary constraints by assisting as needed in tracking and monitoring the use of labor and supplies.

  • Maintains personal competency and professional currency through self-directed professional reading, developing professional contacts with colleagues, attending professional development courses, and attending required training.

  • Performs preventive maintenance on grounds equipment.

  • Supervise maintenance and grounds personnel.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience: Minimum of three years of experience managing construction projects or similar.
